At room temperature and humidity, mix by spatulating on a glass slab until a uniform paste is obtained. It is advisable to make successive additions of powder to the liquid until completely mixed. Mixing time should not exceed 1.5 min. Remove the cavity. If the pulp is very close, the use of a calcium hydroxide base may be useful. The cavity should have a retentive shape. Place the Provisional Restorative Material into the cavity using the usual methods, and if desired control the occlusion by having the patient bite down on a matrix to remove the excess material. Working time about 2.5 minutes setting time 5.5 minutes.
