Dentaflux Collaborates with Smile is a Foundation

For Oral Health in Zimbabwe

At Dentaflux, we firmly believe that oral health is a universal right, and this conviction has driven us to collaborate with projects aimed at improving the quality of life for people in vulnerable situations. In this regard, we take pride in partnering with Smile is a Foundation, an organization dedicated to providing dental care to remote areas of Africa, particularly in Zimbabwe.

Our goal in donating these resources is not only to support the dentists and volunteers of the foundation by providing them with effective and safe tools to carry out their work but also to participate in actions that improve the oral health of those in greatest need, ensuring they receive the essential care that everyone deserves.

As a company committed to dental health and well-being, we could not miss the opportunity to participate in such an important project. Thus, we joined the cause by donating high-quality dental materials, which are essential for the success of Smile is a Foundation's medical brigades in Zimbabwe.

A Project with Impact

Smile is a Foundation aims to provide dental and ophthalmological treatments to communities lacking access to these services. Since its inception, they have implemented mobile clinics in rural areas, serving thousands of people living in extreme poverty.

In addition to medical treatments, the foundation promotes prevention through oral health education for children and training for local staff. This ensures that the impact lasts far beyond their intervention.

During their expedition to Zimbabwe in November 2023, Smile is a Foundation treated over 5,200 patients, performed nearly 3,000 dental procedures, and distributed 1,700 prescription glasses and 2,500 pairs of sunglasses, showcasing the reach and relevance of their work.
