EDTA based has the main capacity: soften the dentin, kidnapping calcium ions and this way making easier and quicker the canal instrumentation. In curved and narrow canals the use of Q crema or Q solucion is highly recommended. The material is introduced using a syringe, and leaving few seconds to act, the effect of softening the dentin is clear. Q solution has another use: cleaning the smear layer from cores. |
