EUGENOL

	Eugenol (clove'e essence) is an esence oil with a lot of uses in odontology, the main one is it capacity to react with cinc oxide producing a salt that makes a matrix used as cement.
This cement is not irritant, is not agressive, this two advantages makes it adecuated to cement where pulp is so near and in general when there is risk of sensibility. The disadvantage of this materials are theyr action over curing of resins, they are not very hard and do not resist contact with oral fluids as produced in filtrations. Eugenol bottled by Dentaflux is the highest grade one. Can be used with all cinc oxide based cements(ZOE) avaiable in the market. As all the liquid part is eugenol sometimes diluted with other cheaper oils.
